Hi, I'm Nicki, I design products people actually enjoy using.
I'm a UX/UI and Product Designer based in San Francisco with experience across mobile, web, and SaaS. I specialize in taking complex, messy problems and turning them into clean, intuitive digital experiences.
My path into design isn't a typical one. I studied Psychology at San Jose State, then spent time as a Behavioral Health Technician working one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. That experience shaped how I think about design permanently — I learned that how people actually behave and process information is rarely what we assume. I bring that lens to every project.
I trained formally in UX/UI Design at Career Foundry, expanded into front-end development at General Assembly, and most recently earned IBM certifications in Generative AI for UX/UI Design. I'm always adding tools that make me a better, more well-rounded designer.
I've shipped a native mobile app from scratch, redesigned enterprise wellness platforms, and run client projects end-to-end through my own studio, Adibi Design. I work best in collaborative environments where design has a real voice, partnering closely with product and engineering to get things built right.
I'm currently open to full-time UX/UI and Product Designer roles at mid-size tech companies, startups, and enterprise teams in the SF Bay Area.
